The breed profiles, texts and ratings on Caninpedia are original works, protected by copyright. You may read them, share links to them and quote short extracts for non-commercial purposes, provided you name Caninpedia and link to the original page.

Unless we give written permission, you may not:

• copy or republish whole profiles or substantial parts of the site, on another website or in print;
• scrape, crawl or download the site automatically in bulk (standard search engine indexing is welcome);
• use the content to build a competing database or product, or to train or feed commercial AI systems;
• present our content as your own.

Photos

Photos are not owned by Caninpedia. Each one is published under its own license (for example CC BY-SA), shown under the image with its author and a link to the original file. If you reuse a photo, follow the terms of that license, not these terms.

Information only

Caninpedia provides general information about dog breeds. It does not replace advice from a veterinarian, a professional trainer or a qualified breeder, and individual dogs can differ widely from their breed description. We work to keep the content accurate but cannot guarantee that it is complete or up to date, and we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of it.
